Dr. Hosffman Ospino's research concentrates on the dialogue between theology and culture and the impact of this interchange upon 天主教 theological education, 用问答方式演讲, and ministry. He has lectured nationally and internationally on these areas and once worked for the National Confederation of 天主教 Education in his native Colombia. Dr. Ospino is the author several books, including Cultural Diversity and Paradigm Shifts in 天主教 Congregations (Fordham University Press, forthcoming) and of the studies, "天主教 Schools in an Increasingly Hispanic Church" (2016), "Hispanic Ministry in 天主教 Parishes" (2015), and "Evangelization and Catechesis in the Context of Hispanic Ministry" (Liguori, 2013, in Spanish). He is also the co-editor of "Hispanic Ministry in the Twenty-First Century: Urgent Matters" (Convivium Press, 2016) and editor of "Hispanic Ministry in the Twenty-First Century: Present and Future." (Convivium Press, 2010). He served as the Principal Investigator of the first ever National Study of 天主教 Parishes with Hispanic Ministry and a Co-Principal Investigator for the National Survey of 天主教 Schools Serving Hispanic Families. He is an officer of the Academy of 天主教 Hispanic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS) and a member of the Board of Directors of the National 天主教 Educational Association (NCEA).
